Instructions to candidates

Instructions to Candidates contain important information about the administration of JIEB’s exams. You must read these instructions carefully and make sure you are fully familiar with our processes and procedures before you start your exam(s). If you don’t follow these instructions, you may be charged with misconduct or your script may not be marked. Below you can also find a list of what items you are permitted to take into the exam:

“Watches or clocks, mobile phones and/or electronic devices, apart from permitted calculators, are not permited on your person during the exam. If you are found to have any banned devices in  your possession during the exam, this may be reported as misconduct in line with ICAEW assessment regulations. Please ensure that any electronic devices you are storing securely with the invigilator during the exam are switched off!.
